This is TMBG performing “Birdhouse in Your Soul” live in 1992, with just an accordion and guitar. I think it’s my favourite live rendition of the song. So, enjoy, and stuff.
Afterward Flans tells a story about busking and “Maybe I Know”.
This is indeed fantastic, though perhaps not as fantastic as the Leno performance.

I just saw this band, Horse Feathers, last night. I was in the front row right next to the cello and violin. Needless to say, it was amazingly wonderful.
I taped this show, and I just finally got it edited and uploaded! The Wex people were very very nice and helpful and the soundboard recording sounds really great. Go listen to it!
Just watch Jenny Conlee. Ah! I’m on such an accordion kick lately. And I probably will be for some time! (that’s fair warning.)
I almost forgot about this video. almost.
NYCTaper just posted our Mercury Lounge set from last week. It’s a very good recording.

The recording is indeed very good! And the setlist is fantastic. Best of all, though, is the way JV runs the show. It’s more like a giant party than a concert. Highly recommended!
look at this really good performance of “Psalms 40:2”
Tiny desk rules
So so so good.
